    NFL Sky Judge

'Sky Judge' Official Is a No-Brainer for the NFL ........ *With NFL officiating under more fire than ever following a season marred by blunders, there's no good reason why the league shouldn't adopt the same system—especially because the NFL already has fewer on-field officials (seven) than the AAF and the NCAA (eight apiece).* .................. https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndica...e-nfl.amp.html ................ *'Sky judge' proposal by Ravens is idea that NFL needs to embrace* ............. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usa...amp/3043259002 ............... Good idea or no ??

The Browns got hosed 3 times specifically that cost them games. The NFL doesn't care as long as we buy our tickets.

Nearly every team is hurt by poor officiating several times over the course of the season. The officiating issues can be solved by recruiting younger athletes who aren't NFL quality players and make them full time refs who review their performance, identify the mistakes and train to correct those errors all off season.

Get rid of the senior citizens who can no longer keep up with speed and athelicism of the game.

A sky judge would be a good addition. They should also take advantage of technology and add more cameras to see more angles. The cameras we have now are small and high definition, they could be put anywhere. They added the goal line cameras and they really helped. Put in more sideline cameras and sync them up with the new 360 view. Maybe with advances in A.I. the cams could actually signal when they see a penalty which could then be reviewed by officials.

The least they could do with the old guys is make sure they have 20:20 vision or at least correctable to 20:20 with glasses. Also test them for depth perception. I mean something has to be amiss when there is a bad call or no call and not only is the official standing right there he's actually looking right at the players. They either have bad eye sight or they are biased towards one of the teams for whatever reason.

It's not an issue of poor eyesight. Many of the officials are unable to keep up with the game. Biases do exist and at times they impact the officiating.

Contact in the passing game needs to be called consistently. But officials did that in the past and they can do it again if the NFL sends the message that they want them to.

Remember the important product here is entertainment not purity of sport. And there are MANY pass fouls watched and not called. In fact the outside deep sideline game is little more that a wrestling match. I'm been noticing for years.
However, the owners now want PI reviewed under certain conditions, which might point out the calls that are not being made in the rest of the situations
