    Excerpt:

CNN)The Boulder Police Department has launched an internal investigation after an encounter between a group of officers and a black man was captured on video and circulated online.

The video, which was published on YouTube and on social media, was filmed on the morning of March 1 in Boulder, Colorado. It shows a man with a bucket and a long item in a front yard of a townhouse complex. An officer appears to be talking to the man and has his hand on his hip.

"He's picking up trash," the person filming says repeatedly, as the man and the officer exchange words at a distance. "He lives here," the person filming says. The officer is then joined by other officers and the man and the officers appear to be yelling at each other. The video ends with all the officers walking away.

There needs to be consequences to abuses of authority like this. He needs to be fired and prosecuted harshly.

If it happened the way its reported and I have a hard time believing anything from cnn, he needs to be fired immediately.

Police today seem to be excessively wary in all contacts with the public, I dont know what kind of training they are getting today or if thats the cause of this apparent apprehension.

There is someone arrested in the United States every 2.5 seconds, thats how many contacts a day police have with citizens. Still I dont know whats driving the wariness and apprehension today. I certainly cant explain it nor would I defend it. Bad behavior by a cop is just that and should never go unpunished. BUT I always wait until the investigation is over too many times we get the shorthand version

Fired, not sued. Suits only punish the tax payers.
