Lol, for his own safety. We keep them locked up at night, and during the winter. There have been reports of coyotes in the area lately. His "jail" is a 500+ sq ft enclosure with indoor, and outdoor areas, all under roof. Many toys, cat trees, insulated beds inside insulated crates.
Here's The Three Amigos, Smix, Unique (aka ferret), and Howie. That's three outta six.

No, they're actually not. My wife just likes that kind of cat. Siamese/Tabby mix. They're all rescues though.

I'm allergic, that's why I had to build the Cat Shack. They're very well cared for, and my wife spends hours a day with them. I try to spend time with them every day, but I have to limit myself.

That's too bad (that you're allergic). However, they do have lots of interesting things to look at every day and I imagine misguided rodents that get in are a source of amusement for them.
