I think its sort of difficult to compare nowadays to 50 plus years ago.
From my memory and experience, Eliiah Muhammed the Imam of the American Nation of Islam and ALi's mentor was for racial separation but black dominance. The same with Farrahkhan

Not sure of that. According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belief...tion_of_Islam: "While Malcolm X was a member of the Nation of Islam, he preached that Black people were genetically superior to white people[citation needed]. Elijah Muhammad respected all people, including Whites, especially those whites who embraced Islam. Elijah Muhammad thought that his teacher Master Fard had a white Muslim mother from the Caucasus mountain region of eastern Europe. Elijah also thought that Prophet Muhammad of Arabia was the last Prophet of God and that he was a White Arab.<Message to The Black Man in America>"

“Conscientiously believing that the proper condition of the negro is slavery, or a complete subjection to the white man, and entertaining the belief that the day is not distant when the old Union will be restored with slavery nationally declared to be the proper condition of all of African descent, and in view of the future harmony and progress of all the States of America, I have been induced to issue this address, so that there may be no misunderstanding in the future”
