My attitude doesn't allow for this $#@! to get a free pass from you patriots. Change comes by the ballot box or a civil war.
You are short sighted. I suspect you would have remained loyal to GB and fled to Canada.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

2- Get the information in the hands of a journalist who would publish it all. This would show the American people what was really going on, and that crimes were routinely being covered up, but at the expense of being labeled a traitor.
The 3rd option you pointed out is not really an option. Reporting that stuff to someone in congress is the same as reporting to co-conspirators in the actual crimes. The information that would have came out, if any, would have been trivial and of no consequence. Manning would have got life in prison, and the American people would have no idea why for at least 50 years. And we would still believe our military was not partly made up of pre-adult kids with no developed conscious. And we would never have direct evidence that we are lied to continuously by our own government.
This painting of whistleblowers as treasonous villains is amazing. The people they are reporting are the treasonous one's. When you are in a position to choose whether to protect people around you or in your chain of command, or to protect the Constitution and everything it stands for, what do you do?
Do you become a traitor to a handful of other traitors? Or do you get labeled a traitor, but prove your devotion to the American people?
From experience Manning could not have possibly read the 700K documents he compromised. Manning did it to get even with the big, bad, Army men who would not love him.

In my opinion for Manning it was all about the penis. He wanted someone else's. The only thing Manning cares about is sex with men who do not want him.

No, not really. How could any American overlook the castration of MessiahCare? Damn good thing, that.

Who could overlook the placing of Gorsuch and Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court? Americans are withing with pent up glee for the coroner's report on Ruthie. Oh, getting a Ruthless court can't happen soon enough.

And all those lower court judges, too. Have you thanked Harry Exercise Equipment Reid for Gorsuch and Kavanaugh en there's the ecomony. See what happens when a traitor imposter president is replaced with a real American president?

How is Obama ' s ISIS doing these days?

Did you notice how Cuomo is freaking out, merely because the people of California are no longer subsidizing New York ' s insane state income taxes?

    Pretty funny, huh?

That eunuch is not a whistleblower...

...er, he was not referring suspected criminal al/unethical behavior to the Inspector General for proper legal action. He illegally stole classified documents and violated national security in a fit of hormonal overdose.

What he did, as I recall, was attempt to sell his satchel full of papers for loads of cash. To the highest bidder.

And his documents covered a lot more than just a little bit of NSA domestic onfo-rape.

He had prior disciplinary problems prior to deployment, and during the deployment. I believe his unit was negligent in not pulling his security clearance prior to this crime.

You should have been his lawyer. Hormonal insanity might have got him less time. Yes, he broke the law. And his actions demonstrated that the top brass in our military routinely break the law, then lie to our faces. Which is worse, a first-time offender, or a bunch of serial offenders?
It is not cool when our secrets get leaked. But a large portion of the stuff that came out should not have been secret to begin with. The only reason for keeping the bulk of it secret was to hide bad or illegal behavior.
Right now we have someone acting as a diplomat, Kushner, who was never appointed nor confirmed by congress, and who has access to everything. Instead of releasing that information to the public as a whistleblower, he instead uses it for his nefarious purposes in support of his step-dad. When it comes to getting assets compromised, I bet when the real story comes out eventually, he will be one of the worst security breaches in history. I don't even doubt it was Trump, through Kushner, that helped plan for Kashogi's murder with MBS.
Which is worse, people using classified info to run around like a mob boss helping to whack folks for a good business deal, or an honest patriot who releases information with the intention of enlightening their less intelligent American fellows?
