The Statute of Limitations for a federal crime (other than a capital offense) is 5 years from the date of the event, or if it is a conspiracy, 5 years from the last act in furtherance thereof.

The only time you can feel safe is after the SOL has expired...Federal investigations can take a long time and you can be indicted until the statute of limitations runs out. When will that be? My colleagues have given you some good and detailed information about that.

It's just a hatred thing. You believe in individual responsibility and freedom, the Gov't, State or Federal, in the century 2000 hates you. Liberal Progressive democrats only want one thing, to put all on Gov't assistance programs. The idea that an individual can take responsibility for their own damn self and doesn't need a politican to live their life, is a concept a democrat liberal progressive cannot tolerate.

We were talking about pardons. The State prosecutions are to ensure that Manafort dies in prison despite a Presidential pardon.
