Yes, let's have 16 year olds voting......and while we're at it, let's lower the legal drinking age to 14, legal smoking age, 12, let's let kids get a driver's license at, 10!

18 is fine. No reason to eliminate perfectly good candidates from the draft. Younger soldiers, properly trained can handle combat better than new older soldiers. I went in when I was 17, fully expecting to see combat. I did at age 20 and thoroughly enjoyed myself. As I got older I did not enjoy it at all, but did my job.

18 isn't fine. The legal age from drinking to voting should be 21. Drivers licenses moved to 18. Military service 18, active duty can vote.

Why would you be calling them kids, Nancy? Perhaps because.....they are??!! You want to allow 16 year old's to vote? You're just admitting that they're kids....ie….naïve and immature....and yet you want to "capture" their vote. They cannot carry nor own a firearm or even purchase cigarettes. They cannot purchase alcohol, serve in the military, they're seen as minors if charged with anything.....and you wish to allow them to vote?
