Yes Geo Politics does matter. What Democrats actually know anything about it? One thing is clear....out of their clowns running for the Presidency. I would say only Sanders has some experience with the matter.

Oh I don't think Sanders place much value in it. He certainly doesn't know much about the ME. Does know a lil about whatever Socialist Countries are out there. But I doubt he has any dealings with overseas Leaders.

Even the Demos in Congress are light on Geo Politics. Meaning those on the Committees that should be in the knowing.

He's correct about NATO that the US has decreasing confidence in. NATO was created to defend smaller nations against the Soviet Union. Trump is correct about that and the need for a common defense against Russia...like Russia's population and thus sphere of influence...is shrinking daily.

Secondly, each nation needs to begin defense measures on their own accord any 'NATO' endeavor is obsolete thinking. US and other western powers being unwilling or unable to defend other nations, those nations must be more able to defend themselves.
