    Isn't it common knowledge ? ....Assad defends Syrians . Syria consists of Shiite , Alawite , Sunni , Jew , Christian , Kurd and Bathis. They are all Syrian , and before the current problems , it was the most stable society in the middle east.

    Jordan, the UAE and Qatar have always been considered the most stable nations in the ME. Syria has never been on that list.
