Common throws quite a pity party, but spare us the icky factor in passing judgement on this guy. If he was within the law, and you find nothing against it in the Bible, and you can't (quite the contrary, I think), then you have no case. Far crueler events happen in the wild, and your objections mean nothing to me, or to the legal system, or to God or anyone else. You might have Satan's ear, but that's about it.

Now, sit down and have a drink. He probably has some great hunting stories to share.

Boy, this well to hell in a hurry didn't it? I chastized Dr. Strangelove for trolling and should have done so for Sargeant Gleed as well, but the truth is I didn't read his post in its entirety. Both were out of line and both helped derail the thread.

Outpouring of disgust as trophy hunter creeps up on sleeping lion, shoots it, watches it writhe in agony and then celebrates its death

A harrowing video of the moment a hunter shoots and kills a sleeping lion in the wild has swept social media.
The clip was posted by the Twitter account @Protect_Wldlife on Monday, without any identifying details about the shooter or where the incident took place, save for the guide calling the man by last name, potentially saying, 'Mr. Goney' or 'Mr. Gooney.'
Neither man has been identified and the video is undated.
It is unclear where it was taken but the guide has a South African accent.

'This "hunter" sneaked up on a SLEEPING #Lion and killed it! How brave, how sporting - HOW C**TISH!!!,' the tweet which included the video read, prompting thousands of responses in outrage over the spectacle.

I will not watch that video. I'm already upset by the narrative. There are people in this world that are a waste of skin and the resources needed to keep them alive.

Probably none that would put him in jail. I think that he should be chained to a tree in the middle of the Savannah....if he gets guzzled by lions or jackals, the loss of his DNA won't make the slightest ripple in the human species, unlike that lion whose DNA would have served a beneficial purpose.

    I wasn't trolling.

I was establishing a baseline against which to measure the angst of our dearest posters in light of the horrendously tragic death of the sleeping kitty.

I was pointing out the sheer hypocrisy of the anti-life, anti-gu, anti-freedom of the anti-American Rodents who are the creatures most likely to have a screan-at-the-sky moment upon hearing that a furry was killed.

    Freedom Requires Obstinance.

We the People DID NOT vote in a majority Rodent Congress, they stole it via election fraud.
