Internet Safety info for all members

Ive been using DuckDuckGo for a long time, I believe its the best of the safe search engines out there. Evidently my VPN provider also thinks so, they sent me this via email, I NEVER use google, yahoo or bing

We asked our developers and sys admins which search engines they would use personally and what they could recommend you:
DuckDuckGo is probably the best known alternative search engine. It doesn’t use cookies that can identify users and discards IP addresses from its server logs. DuckDuckGo also shows the same search results to everybody, which is refreshing when compared to Google’s aggressive profiling.

StartPage is another privacy-focused tool our tech team recommends. It sources its search results from Google, which is a good thing if you simply want Google without the tracking.

I've used DDG for a long time also.
I'm not sure what "doesn't save cookies means".

Sure I know what cookies are(lol) , but I'm assuming cookies in the engine itself.
Because when i search this site using DDG, THE SITE ITSELF saves the cookie as long as I hit remember me.

I guess thats what they mean by they don't "track you".
