It's amazing how people like you have turned on McCain. I suspect it has to do with Trump's criticism and the fact McCain often stuck to his principles rather than towing the party line.

McCain is a hero for the simple fact that he could have been sent home years earlier from his POW detention because of who his father was, but he volunteered to stay with his fellow prisoners instead. Meanwhile, Donny "Bonespurs" Trump was busy partying in NYC.

I had strong political disagreements with McCain, but he had more integrity and honour in his little finger than that blowhard coward in the White House.
