What an amazing piece of equipment Hubble has been. Its answered a hundred questions and set the stage for 10,000 more questions. Science as it should be. I feel so privileged to have lived in this period of time. If we ever launch the James Webb telescope and if it can get to where it needs to be and if it deploys correctly I believe we will be as astonished and awed with the information we get from it as we were when we first put "contact lenses" on the Hubble. But what's really amazing to me is that these are just the crude technological first steps in a journey that will take us who knows where.

The Hubble is indeed "amazing". The images it has sent back are incredible
