....that would be the beginning of the end . SS belongs to the people , not some corporate entity that's only master is the profit at the bottom of a balance sheet.

Social Security should have been private to start with if we were going down that road. I would have 3-4 times the income from stocks than I have from SS.

When I do buy stock, I expect the best return possible. Anything else is stupid.

I don't have a problem with this. We need to stay on top of what's happening in the world of weapons, and Israel has some of the best and brightest scientists in the world. The last thing we need is to be left behind in military development.

Not much chance of that.
