Probably. Cats are vicious animals. Always on the hunt for pray. Thankfully they are small and cuddly.

I've never run from a menacing dog. The worst thing that you can do is run. You have to face them down. I've faced down a pack of dogs more than once. It's all about attitude. You have to think that you are more powerful than the dogs and intimidate the leader. Think aggressive thoughts and make aggressive sounds. I personally will growl and bark and speak to them in low tones and move toward them slowly changing my posture to emulate an animal about to attack. Dogs are easy to psych out. The surest way to get bitten is to act like prey.
In quoting my post, you affirm and agree that you have not been goaded, provoked, emotionally manipulated or otherwise coerced into responding.

Doc dog packs in the city are vicious and hungry, you would get eaten alive if they set on you. They are not today what it was in the 70s they are mostly cleaned up. Cities used to send out details of cops to shoot wild dogs because they became a threat to humans.

Doc dont be confused with wild street dogs and aggressive dogs, 2 different things

Growing up in San Antonio, there were loose vicious dogs on every street! I learned that if I bent over like I was going to throw a rock at them, they would back off!

Twice, I have had Pits try to attack me! They are like 4-legged sharks! And I don't trust Dobies or Rotweilers.

Correct. And you don't even need a background check to get one.

That's it. A lot of people are afraid of anything they don't understand.

I know a guy who has a female pitbull rescue that has scars on her face because some HUMAN tied her mouth shut with wire and used her as a bait dog. She is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet... a little skittish around strangers, but once she knows you, she's great to be around.

If all these people are going to live in fear, they ought to be afraid of something they should be afraid of... two legged predators.

It's all about the dog's TRAINING, people.

I've rescued a Siberia husky that was totally unsocialized. Why someone would pay a thousand dollars for a puppy and then ignore the basics of training her is a mystery, but there you have it. This is a beautiful dog, awesomely so. Loves people, loves small children.

And loves to kill small amimals, including cats, chihuahuas, skunks and the like. Because she was more than two years old when we got her, there's pretty much nothing we can do to suppress her urges to pursue and attack small animals, including dogs. She's a very dominant dog and that's all there is to that.

She was not trained when it counted. All we can do is keep her away from what she views as prey or junior pack meme rrs to be brought into line.
    Freedom Requires Obstinance.

We the People DID NOT vote in a majority Rodent Congress, they stole it via election fraud.
