His actions threatened the security of this nation and he should be dealt with accordingly.

He claimed if he was ever arrested that a firestorm of information would be released. It may to have taken them this long to make sure it didn't happen.

It's been universally accepted , even by your president , that all information released by Assange and Wikileaks is genuine. Even if Assange is murdered by those that fear him , wikileaks will keep going , and release more genuine information about many things. The rage against wikileaks will be maintained , but it's authenticity will not be questioned . It's the truth , and it is seriously feared by all who are trying to hide things from the people.
