No country is all powerful. Nuke Mexico or something similar and the entire world would minimally impose the kind sanctions on America that Cuba enjoyed for about 50 years. That would mean no exports, no imports, no tourism, no travel, no stock trades - nothing. It would be total Coventry. Furthermore, it would never happen, for those very reasons. While individual citizens are persuaded that America can do whatever it pleases, those who actually understand the geopolitical implications are not that naive. America can be totally isolated if the rest of the world refuses to do business with her. Why do you think that Iraq and Afghanistan weren't bombed into the next dimension or Iran destroyed?

Btw..how do you figure "no stock trades"?. I was a broker for 27 years and the only time we were ever shut down was a day or two after 9/11. So again, no stock trades?
