Disagree all you want. Presidents try to be all things to all people and will always have at least 50 percent of the country against him on some position. No one agrees 100% with anyone else. You must look at his over all performance and I don't see how you can call him socialist by that criteria. .

Most Republican Governments have run up deficits. Maybe it's all that lowering of taxes and increased military or related spending that's to blame.

If things were only so simple as you make them! Alas, history is messy:

There's a steady rise from Reagan through Bush into Clinton followed by a plateau under a Republican Congress. The deficit starts rising under Bush and skyrockets under a Democratic Congress into Obama's years and, off that chart, levels again under a Republican Congress.

The entire bailout budget was set by the outgoing Bush government. Greater Democrat spending was generally associated with inherited economic reversals, followed by the creation of surpluses which the Reps spent like drunken sailors on shore leave. I'm not seeing any Republican fiscal restraint in this government. Your chart stops short of the manic Trump deficit spending.

    Sheesh.

He signed the budgets into law. Without his signature, congressional desires mean zilch.

The bailout was decided by these people:

People who don't understand the functions of each branch of government should not be allowed to vote.

I think we do a reasonably good job dealing with your idiocy.
