We have 500 sanctimony cities to dump the illegals into. That should be good for a while.

In this Republican's view, it was the issue of separating families at the border. Republicans wary of 2018 elections tried to pass a bill that summer, it failed. Trump didn't help, reversing the decision to do so. We now have overcrowded and overburdened detention centers and migrants know that if they've a child with them, they can get into the United States. We Republicans cannot toot any immigration horns, we fell apart. The media was on one of its' rants, if you ask me either Melania or Ivanka or both walked in one night and explained to him that everyone has a boss. Even him.

By the way....we Republicans are to blame for the reality on the border, our Republican House and Senate run with a Trump in office should have addressed immigration. But the Congresses prior did nothing either. Neither did Obama who tossed illegal migrants out without due process at record pace.

Thus I don't believe supporters of either party should be blowing trumpets on this one, our collective government is an utter failure on this issue. We cannot solve this, then I agree with Cher, how are we going to take care of our own. Migrants ain't the only ones facing violence everyday. Not the only destitute children. Take care of your own children afore you offer to babysit someone else's.
