So now a lack of class or perspective is illegal? High school kids ( boys and girls) talk like that all the time. I doubt anyone would argue the classlessness of the post, or it's stupidity. But that's what it is classless and stupid. NOT illegal. If we were all charged with every classless and stupid act we made as teens there would be more inmates that outmates.

I wonder how many of the complaints came from the "unranked" females? High school is all about looks, money , sports and "cool". It's even more shallow than our adult world if you can believe that. In fact my mother blamed centalized schools for the downfall of America as she put it. I think that guess is as good as any.

Difficult to judge without reading the actual postings, but it does seem like a stretch. Anyway, this is how laws get struck down or amended; legislators frequently create laws that are at odds with the Constitution and American legal traditions, and it is cases such as this that provide the courts with an opportunity to right the ship.

Difficult to say as you suggest, but it could also be entirely warranted.

But don't miss the main point which likely has something to do with an attempt to stop the momentum toward encouraging crime by Trump and his lowlife supporters. Don't rule out it being an effort to oppose Trump's support of the extreme right stormfront movement.

Were not all attempts to stop Hitler, legitimate attempts by rightful opposers of the building Nazi regime of the 30's? A time when a country's homegrown terrorists were more correctly known as freedom fighters.

Such is the depths of depravity Americas are deciding to allow Trump to take their country.

Would it not be a wise move now to throw Neo-Nazis into a jail when they outwardly conspire to incite violence against the people?

If that was truly your mother's thinking on schools then I would suggest that she impressed a very wrong and negative view onto you.

I think this is the cyber-stalking statute. Is this cyber stalking? Disgusting, yes. Illegal?

Without having the content of the posts to review it is clumsy at best to come to conclusions on the validity of the charges.

But it appears some prosecutor thinks he/she has enough evidence to score a conviction...
