I've had both eyes and it was a piece of cake. No pain, no recovery time, well worth doing.
Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I digress....

My decision is to get the distance lense where I need reading glass'. Or get my near sightedness made far better and still need glass's. If I get the distance lenses, ill have to get both eyes done, if I get the near sightedness ill still have to wear glass's. If Im reading it right thats what @DGUtley had done

BTW my father was almost blind in one eye and couldnt see well out of the other one before I could talk him into getting the surgery. One eye came out perfect he had issues with the other eye
I guess you have to decide which offers you the most benefit.

No; I have not. My doc says that I have the very beginnings of it in both eyes, but it apparently a very simple thing these days wherein they just sort of vacuum out the cataract. I think you'll be fine: good luck.

They do put a lense in. They don't put a corrective lens in unless you pay for that. In theory. you vision improves since the cataract isn't blocking your vision. How much, I don't know. I paid to have corrective lenses pout in and I stopped wearing glasses.(Note- I didn't have much vision in one eye and got little improvement there) I have had them for 22 years and still only wear reading glasses when my eye gets tired.
