I should be immune by now, but I was stunned once again by the reaction of trump fluffers to the Mueller Report and their eager deep throating of Barr's spin. Mueller outlined many examples of trumpy cooperation with America's #1 rival, Russia, but he did not declare this behavior rose to the level of a legal conspiracy. "Yay!" the fluffers shout. "Our leader came up short of being proven beyond a reasonable doubt to be guilty of conspiracy! Yay! 'No collusion'!"

They slink even lower on obstruction of justice. Mueller outlines several examples of attempts to obstruct justice, but regulations prevented an indictment. Because of that, Mueller would not formally accuse trump when trump would have no trial in which to respond. The report shows trump lied repeatedly, and asked others to lie and obstruct justice. trump was saved primarily by the fact that people would not obey his orders. Think about what is going on now that trump has gotten rid of most of those who were so disloyal they would not break the law for him. trump fluffers wave their pom poms and high kick their varicosed legs from beneath their pleated skirts: "Yay, trump escaped indictment! The "Don" got away with it! Yay!"
Now, combine that with an administration that looks generally like Goodfellas meets The Three Stooges. One Cabinet member after another has slithered away after ripping off the nation so blatantly they did not even much try to avoid being caught. They knew they were safe. trump himself has been caught in several scams, ranging from ripping off his suckers with a university con to ripping off veterans and others with a charity grift so egregious his entire family is barred from doing charities in New York. He lies as often as he breathes. On top of all that, trump grovels on his pudgy knees before every thuggish dictator on the planet who plays his simple ass.

trump fluffers are not just okay with all this trumpy sleaze and slime and corruption, they love it that "snowflake" liberals are offended by trump's lack of character. They take delight in trolling Americans who still possess integrity and are disgusted by the dishonor trump brings to all of us. Liberated from such quaint and archaic principles themselves, they remain ... Deplorable.
