He supported President Obama's Clean Climate Agenda and opposes President Trump's executive order on the environment, which he says shows "a complete disregard for facts and science."

There have always been vets who think they were just tools of the military industrial complex. They think the government that "mistreated" them owes them a living for the rest of their lives. At the very least the government owes them "Rescue Dogs" to help them overcome their mental distress.

I think government should honor all the promises made to vets when they were recruited.

I do too. I just don't think that includes taking care of them for the rest of their lives unless they were severally injured in combat.

What promises do you think the government makes to vets in order to recruit them? Mine told me I could have a billet anywhere on the East Coast. I got the east coast of Japan, the east cost of the Philippines, and the east coast of Vietnam. So they kept that promise! I received the GI bill and went back to college after I got out and now I am being treated, very well I might add, in a VA hospital for congestive heart failure. They've given me hearing aids, Cpap machines, and other devices over the years. What does the government owe me for my service to the country? I wasn't a mercenary. I joined because I had a duty to my country.
