Lots of folks served in Iraq.............you would have thought he'd be a bit more conservative after risking life and limb.

He doesn't appear to be too far off from the others. He likes the ACA, but doesn't support the Medicare for all thing.

I'm sure he's weighing his options on the green new deal.

I'm sure he's weighing his options on the green new deal.
Environment: "Climate change is real," he says on his congressional website. He is a member of the Climate Solutions Caucus. He hopes the U.S. can one day move toward energy independence. He supported President Obama's Clean Climate Agenda and opposes President Trump's executive order on the environment, which he says shows "a complete disregard for facts and science."

Abortion: He is a "strong defender of a woman’s right to choose" and is a member of the House Pro-Choice Caucus. LifeNews notes that he has co-sponsored the Women's Health Protection Act of 2017, which would invalidate nearly all state and federal limitations on abortion......snip~

The only thing he isn't far left on is guns.

The Demos have been hoping to trick Veterans to ride the Victim Bus. This cycle they have gained a couple.

There have always been vets who think they were just tools of the military industrial complex. They think the government that "mistreated" them owes them a living for the rest of their lives. At the very least the government owes them "Rescue Dogs" to help them overcome their mental distress.

I think government should honor all the promises made to vets when they were recruited.

I do too. I just don't think that includes taking care of them for the rest of their lives unless they were severally injured in combat.

What promises do you think the government makes to vets in order to recruit them? Mine told me I could have a billet anywhere on the East Coast. I got the east coast of Japan, the east cost of the Philippines, and the east coast of Vietnam. So they kept that promise! I received the GI bill and went back to college after I got out and now I am being treated, very well I might add, in a VA hospital for congestive heart failure. They've given me hearing aids, Cpap machines, and other devices over the years. What does the government owe me for my service to the country? I wasn't a mercenary. I joined because I had a duty to my country.
