I love this! The Food Ranger is awesome. He really reminds us that we are all brothers and sisters in humanity.

We are all brothers and sisters in humanity. We are all made from the same dust of stars. We cannot be separated because all life is interconnected.

I never watched him, but I have traveled extensively in North Africa and the Levant (in addition to "business trips" (military stuff)). The food is good. I do take lots of probiotics when I go overseas, just in case.

His show is really good especially some of his older shows. I haven't watched for a long time though. I just happened to watch this one the other day. He is constantly travelling to eat street food. He has gone to Mexico, India, China (where he lives), and The middle East. He travels with his wife Ting, the camera woman.
The thing about him is normally when he first goes to a food stall he is met with stern faces, by the time it is over everyone is smiling like brothers. I find that to be the best part of his show. When he goes to Pakistan, I cant help but realize that it is people just like them that we are fighting. But when you watch this video, you can see that they are human beings just like you and me. They are good hearted people with such a rich culture. It makes me think of what we have done to the Middle East, and how it never needed to happen. In Pakistan no one would even let him pay for his food. These interactions that he has somehow leave me with a warmth in my heart.
I also like that he doesn't travel to the fancy restaurants he goes to the real deal parts of town that would usually never make it on tv. You get to see a lot of cool places watching his show. Not to mention it is fun to see him speak fluent Chinese. It always surprises the vendors. No matter what country he visits he is not afraid to try their food and their language equally.
