If you are a supposedly smart guy and want to celebrate getting drafted into the NFL, why can't some people do it in a place where they can be relatively certain they won't be a victim of a shooting?

I remember them always getting a C to stay eligible. I always saw them as dumbasses. I've never had high opinion of school athletes as students. Winning is all that matters to a school. The system is corrupt. Of course. I don't care that much. They didn't affect my life.

I remember most being fairly good students. I saw people who didn't get involved in sports and other extracurricular activities as being the dumbasses.

It is a shame that meager league and college sports get their players from the dredges of society. Or maybe that is their best option. In that case who cares if one dies here or there? Plenty more out there.

That's probably because the alternative would be the entitled kids that have wealthy parents who pay top dollar to say their kids excelled in sports they have never participated in...

You make an overstatement when you say colleges get their athletes from the dregs of society. The majority of them are good kids raised in a quality envioronment.
