    AOC documentary on Netflix

Netflix premiered a documentary on Alexandria Ocassio Cortez on the first. I watched it last night. It was really good. It really showed how she is "the people" and it shows how if the people do their part we can all work to make changes. I thought the documentary was wonderful. It expressed what I say often here in this fourm.

Lately I have been slightly annoyed with Ocassio, maybe it is all the negative media attention. But I do like her overall. I dont like everything about her but I like her a lot. One thing that gets me though is she is for the people, and so is Tulsi, there is no one more for the people than Tulsi. I am suprised that even Ocassio is ignoring Tulsi, and not giving her any good words. The entire democratic party has thrown Tulsi under the bus. She is the real deal. When both parties have completely cast you out, and your main message is to work for the people you know somethign is wrong with the parties. It is also how you know Tulsi is the real deal.

Anyways, I got off track. This is about AOC the documentary was great.

Her ideas will only hurt the poorest. Not a good thing.
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.

    Watched about half last night.

I am impressed with her for a few reasons. She fights as the little guy against the establishment politicians so entrenched in the political system as to control anyone new because they control rent-seeking corruption. As the little guy, er, gal, she's enthusiastic, says all the right things in the right way. She comes off as sincere and likable.

But she misses the point of it all imo. Instead of fighting to empower the people against big, established government, she seeks to fight her way into that position so she can represent the people instead. But it's obvious her political agendas overshadow those of the people she represents. She should be fighting for the people by fighting to bring power back to their local level and away from centralized planning and control. In this respect, I am suspicious of her and the people who brought her into power.

If the people step up, then we will once again be a nation by the people for the people. Gov does not need to be taken down inorder to make it happen. All we need to is is have reps that are not bought and paid for and for whos allegiance is to the people and not the corporations this is how we will bring the nation back to the people. We need to get it out of the hands of the corrupt corporations and back into the hands of the people.

A nation " for the people by the people". Great. Now we have "people" who resent successful people and families wanting one group of losers to lead a larger group of losers.

The government can remain, just two changes: 1) Shift power down to the most local level that can best handle it. 2) Invert dependency bottom-up so that any governing body is dependent on the people it serves. That will handle any politician selling out to corporations because power will be distributed and not centralized and, thus, less corrupt.

Then you have been duped. Socialism is for the Socialists, not the people. You may fall for her rhetoric, but she has shown time and again that she is ignorant on just about every subject.

I like that she is anti-establishment, but her Modern Monetary Policy economics are dangerous.
