The question no one is asking because you are all too busy blaming the cop for arresting her is why did she commit suicide? Is anyone claiming she did not? Did the cop sneak into the jail and off her? Her death is the real issue, not her going bonkers because the cop told her to put out her cigarette.

Do you realize he was only going to give her a warning, not a ticket. There would have been no fine, no court, no nothing, just sign the paper and on your way.

Why is she dead, not why did the cop get so bent out of shape?

I don't care who the woman was or that she was an activist, just the facts. She is driving down a road and a cop is following her, she notices he keeps following her so she decides to move into the other lane to allow him that lane. She forgets to signal while trying to move out his way, then he gets behind her and pulls her over. She does comply with her license ect but he asked her why she seems upset. Really I would have been upset too a little She tells him, he didn't like her answer and then tells her to put out her cigarette. He escalated the situation by asking why. She is also in her car and allowed to smoke. But the problem with the new video is that he claimed under testimony he feared for his life and didn't know she had a phone in her hand. Her phone was already out and he knew she was recording and knew it wasn't a gun.

Was the traffic stop the reason she killed herself?

There are many questions about this that doesn't add up. The thing she allegedly put around and tied to her neck to hang herself, didn't have any fingerprints on it. It's been a while but I believe it was a plastic bag. May be wrong but I know it was something that would have had fingerprints. We don't really know what happened or her time of death and the jail never released it. She could have or got into a fight with other inmates or worse.

I have another question. Why was she still in jail for such a minor offense?

I watch a lot of court so I would have to find it again to see how many charges he added on after he arrested her. I remember most of his testimony and at that time I had no reason not to believe him when he said he didn't know it was a phone.
