Iran - The Road To War

Read some history and in particular the 1953 coup backed by the US that ousted the democratically elected government and put the Shah back in power. The reason? The Prime minister was going to nationalize the British owned oil companies. Iran once again became a complete autocracy (with US support) until the 1979 revolution.

During those intervening years, economic conditions did not really improve for most Iranians fueling increased support for Islamic forces led by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini and ultimately culminated in the overthrow of the Shah and the creation of a theocratic republic under the rule of the Ayatollah.

The new government demanded that the Shah be tried for his crimes against the people of Iran, but the Shah was in exile ultimately ending up in the US for cancer treatment. When the US refused to return him to Iran, anti-American sentiment was raging, particularly among the young revolutionary crowd who blamed America for putting the Shah in power.

The hostage crisis was really a direct result of meddling in the internal politics of another sovereign nation for pecuniary gain - something that America did a great deal of in the ME, primarily because of oil. Keeping cruel autocratic regimes in power has a way of stimulating resentment and spawning revolutionary fervor and terrorism.

You must have slept through the part where the Shah was in Mexico when the Iranians invaded the United States and took US citizens hostage.

None of which gives any other nation the right to meddle in their internal politics.

When gandsters seize control of a nation by force, there is no reason for anyone to refrain from using force to expel them, whenever it is desired to be rid of them.

This is something the Rodents working so hard to steal the 1020 election should keep in mind.

Maybe you could read the Declaration of Independence someday.

Their people are obviously capable of overthrowing regimes that don't serve them well. Leave them alone.

It is another good reason to live in Northern Alabama. Most states pay too much per gallon tax.

Yep it looks like Iran is on the Road to War. That doesn't bode well for the weak Iranians.


The Saud and Sunni should up their game. Once Iran attacks the Saud. Pakistan will then hit Iran from their ass end. Then it will be game over for the Iranians.


Israel will be making a move on Hamas soon. More and more people in Israel on both sides of the aisle are tired of the Hamas headgames. So Israel wont be able to help the Saud and Sunni open up the can of whipass on the Iranians.


The Suad should talk to Pakistan and both make a move on Iran. If Russia jumps in, then we jump Russia with the left hand. Holding the Right hand back just in case China wants to puff up.


After it all done and over with. No more Iran. Less major problem in the world. One less enemy and one less bell to answer. Lets bring them to their endgame.

Without US help, a Sunni / Iran (Shiite) war would not be over quickly or decisively. It would be helpful if they bled each other. It would probably cause a global recession because of the spike in oil costs.

All the better.

That would mean more muslims dead on both sides at no cost to us.
