There needs to be safety standards and companies need to use "best-in-practice" methods to safely drill. The oil industry knows how to do it safely and they shouldn't cut corners. Insurers also know those standards and should let their clients know their coverage may be void if they cut corners.

Some are so delusional that they think a president of the United States was a gay, communist, secret Muslim who hated America and attempted to destroy her. Probably some overlap with the flat earthers. A deluded person isn't aware of their delusions, nor will facts and evidence change their views.
