President Donald Trump was tickled Wednesday when an audience member at a Florida rally suggested shooting migrants arriving at the U.S.-Mexican border.

Trump was bemoaning the legal protections afforded migrants and espousing the need for a border wall when he asked rhetorically, "How do you stop these people?"

"Shoot them!" someone shouted from the Panama City Beach crowd, according to multiple news media reports.

The remark drew a chuckle from the president, who shook his head, pointed in the audience member's direction and said, "Only in the Panhandle you can get away with that statement." "Only in the Panhandle," he repeated to laughs and cheers from the crowd.

I really wish people would stop using words and phrases like "migrants" and "undocumented immigrants" to describe criminals illegally crossing the border and invading the United States. It is nothing more than an attempt to give them an air of legitimacy. They are CRIMINALS and need to be referred to and treated as such.

You don't shoot criminals in our nation unless it is a matter of life and death. We do not sentence desperate people to death who are running from tyranny in their nation (Honduras). We are illegally preventing them from seeking asylum which is illegal of us to do. If we would make seeking asylum a bit easier people would have no reason to try and sneak in. But we don't sentence them to death for it, we deport them.

The problem is that racism is off the hook. Like these guys who say we should bring back the Hitler days. They are not just talking about illegals but all migrants. We as Americans need to realize that seeking asylum is not illegal. It is illegal for us to prevent them from seeking it.

Klippenstein posted the case report to his Twitter page, highlighting the comments from one militia member about what they should be doing with migrants on the border.


“Why are we…not lining them up and shooting them?” the militia member asked his fellow gunmen. “We have to go back to Hitler days and put them all in a gas chamber.”

Militias rushed to the U.S.-Mexico border to “help” border patrol agents handle the invasion President Donald Trump claimed was happening. Actual Border Patrol Officers have been asking the men to leave. At least one leader was arrested and held on gun charges last month.

Which is an example of how quick he is on his feet . Just as a concert musician uses the geographical aspect of the audience to endear saying things such as " this is for you Atlanta , Memphis , New York " etc Trump employed the same manner of input in the panhandle. The punch was he didn't even endorse the statement itself and still used it as a dovetail to his advantage. That is one of many examples of what makes him not only successful but effective as our nations leader .
