That must've been what it was, because I don't mind the smell of cabbage or spiciness. I love sauerkraut. A guy I know has a hot dog trailer outside of a local Home Depot. I couldn't resist a couple of beer brat sauerkraut dogs the other day, man they were good.

I think we just get used to the regional foods we grow up with. I'm sure Koreans would find much of our food revolting.

Some people rave about Limburger cheese. Not only does it smell like baby $#@! but it has a lingering baby $#@! taste for hours.

I despise kimchi. Especially the smell. One word of caution. The smell is so potent it will make you smell like kimchi. It's like it leaks out of your pores.

It sure does if you eat it on a regular basis.

Even if you don't. One meal and you will be rank for several hours. As bad as kimchi smells, kimchi BO is ten times worse.

I have eaten kimchi on occasion and have not had a problem that gum or breath mints wouldn't take care of. I was stationed in Korea twice and was around a lot of Koreans and know what heavy consumption of kimchi does to body odor.

I am not sure it would effect me much because I already eat a lot of garlic and onion every day, so I might already smell and not know it LoL.

I made a new batch of Kimchi, it is looking good. I want to say, I didnt change my diet at all, the only thing I did was incorporate the Kimchi and I lost 4 pounds. My stomach feels like it is working better. I feel pretty good since I started eating this, and I think I am hooked. I am very interested in how I will feel about it a month or two from now. I am sticking with it, so far so good. Here is a pic for fun of my latest batch it just finished fermenting yesterday.

Great for gut health. And that affects everything, even the brain.
