    They didn't do that.

    They defrauded thousands and thousands of applicants who believed the colleges assertions that the process was fair.

    Since they committed fraud, deliberately and with malice, they should feel the weight of the law.
    Why is this so hard to accept?

    Deliberately, okay. With malice? Doubtful and something that would never be proven in court.
