I agree; there comes responsibility for one's actions or lack thereof. The question is: how do we motivate people to care? Possibly through legislation? Education? A combination of both?

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

The rates are at an all-time low:

Evolutionary explanation: Those predisposed to get abortions are being selected out of the population as they are less likely to pass on their genes.

Every year the number of children under the care of the state will increase as will the tax dollars needed and the legislators will realize they made a huge error in judgement in passing this legislation.
I think many Rethuglicans secretly like abortion; because it prevents many Welfare Rats of whom many are black!

And because incest is not an exception the Alabamans can happily and freely continue their line of inbreeds.
Adoption of any baby from Alabama would and should not be an option.
This will cause more monsters like Charlie Manson!
And it punishes women who leave the state to have the abortion somewhere else!
    Its just a terrible law!

Roe vs Wade was ruled on. This is a blatant disregard of that. What's the point of ruling on a case if a state can blatantly disregard it?

Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

Legislation is not the answer. First of all, we should stop using schools to encourage kids to have sex. Instead we should be teaching them about personal responsibility.
