It's an extreme case of Right Wing political correctness. The majority religion of the political state of Israel is Judaism; therefore criticism of that nation's actions and policies is not to be tolerated, and anyone who does criticize it is to be labeled and dismissed as an anti-Semite.

It's perfectly fine for the Armenians to hold and express a grudge against the Turks, or for the Koreans to resent and hold a grudge against the Japanese, etc. Even for the American Indians to hold a grudge against most of us. But the Palestinians are expected, in some quarters - mainly Israel and the U.S. - to simply lie down and take it, and to keep their anger and resentment to themselves. Anything else is "anti-Semitism".

Palastinians are free to come and go as they please in Israel as long as they can do it peacefully. There are Palastininans in their parliament. Many live and work amongst the Israeli people. Some are citizens of Israel.
