It’s Official: The Democratic Party Is The Party Of Anti-Semitism .....

On the Hill, let’s face it: the Democratic Party is now the party of anti-Semitism. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) stepped in it again with these remarks about the Holocaust:

The part she leaves out: Palestinian leaders sided with the Nazis during World War II. Tlaib’s remarks come after her partner in crime, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) accused those who supported Israel of exhibiting dual loyalty. Omar has a long history of peddling anti-Semitic trash. And now, Democratic leaders have responded by circling the wagons around Tlaib…...snip~

Yep all Repubs need to jump on this and paint the Demos out. Especially Demo Leadership in the House. They are out trying to protect Tlaib, Omar, and AOC. Over their Anti Semitic remarks. Let the Demos and their cult following live with the perception.

How can a Semite be anti-Semitic? Semitic does not refer only to Jewish people. Arabic people are Semitic as well.

Anti-Semitism refers specifically to anti-Jewish prejudice. The term was coined for that reason and that reason only.

Anyway, Tlaib's comments were misrepresented. It's obvious she didn't mean thoughts of the Holocaust give her the warm and fuzzies. The only thing she seems a little confused on is Palestinian Arab sentiment circa WW2. They were pro-Nazi.

It was coined for that reason, but language does change. Scholars have been debating the usage for all Semitic people versus just the Jewish people in modern times for a while now.

My main point is that the term really makes no sense when applied only to the Jewish people. A different term really needs to be used.

I'll grant you that Arab apologists have tried to change the meaning of the term but only for transparently political and tendentious purposes. It refers to hatred of Jews. That's all the term was coined to describe and has never caused anyone any confusion. You, for example, are not at all confused by the term and know exactly what someone is talking about when they use it.

Lest we forget that Hitler wanted the Jews to get out and have their own Jewish state.
