Then, too, you have to understand that for many people it is your beliefs and opinions that threaten liberty and "our way of life". You should be curious how others truly see things - as opposed to what people who agree with you say those others are thinking - and make an attempt to see some aspects of the world through unfamiliar eyes. If all you do is to sit back and attribute bad motives and evil intent to "the other guy", while refusing to see the moral and logical flaws in at least some of your own views, you will always be an impediment to peace and order.
If I believe you an extremist who wants to take away our personal liberties and destroy our way of life, what could this common ground be? Just let you take some of our freedoms or agree to let you take them away incrementally over a long period of time?

Am I an extremist in your eyes?

If so, what views have you ever seen me express that you consider to be "extreme"?

I said that "IF"I believe you are an extremist... That was for the sake of discussion. Why would that need to be explained?

Again, IF I believe you are an extremist who wants to transform our society and force your views upon me, what common ground could we reach?

It is not a cliché. If you truly love someone, your love will only grow over the years. If your love fades then it is not true love. There are many kinds of true love. You can love your significant other or other people as well. If you have a child and you love them, that is also true love. Can you ever stop loving your child? Will your love ever fade? It is not possible, because it is true love.

It is also true that true beauty does not fade. It is not cliché. I have seen people that may not be very physically beautiful, but I found them to be gorgeous. I have seen people who were aged, and beautiful. To me I see beauty in the eyes of a person. If a person has a good heart and kindness I find them to have true beauty. Most unless something bad happens to them will have that beauty their entire lives.

If you have experienced true love, you would know this is not cliché. If you had seen true beauty in a person that never faded even unto death, you would also know this is not cliché.
We are all brothers and sisters in humanity. We are all made from the same dust of stars. We cannot be separated because all life is interconnected.
