I'm not surprised at their findings (btw, the entire study can be downloaded on that site, thank you) because we've seen a whole lost less racial volatility in the past couple of years. Is it Trump? That's difficult to know -- perhaps it's just because Obama is out, and it would have declined under any new president. Obama stirred up racial animus but that's not happening anymore. It seems natural racial feelings would decline along with that.

Well, those were my thoughts, that it's just correlation, America has become less racist and it just so happened Trump was elected. But the studies find a significant causative correlation.
