Most Westerners, and a sizable percentage of the planet's others, only give lip service to a belief in a god; their identification with an organized Faith is purely cultural.
Only the most recent example. There are more.

In the name of “charity,” some churches are defying and violating U.S. federal government laws on immigration by providing “sanctuary” to those who are in the U.S. illegally and face deportation.

More than defying immigration laws, under the Obama administration, churches and other “faith-based” institutions had formed a lucrative alliance with the U.S. government in aiding and abetting illegal immigration and “refugee” re-settlement, contrary to the Left’s mantra of “separation of church and state”.

Have Christians joined the godless Left to enrich themselves at the expense of the nation and Real Americans?

Collusion of Church & State in Invasion of Illegals: $182M to house "unaccompanied children" for just 4 months

Given how Democrats insist on the separation of church from state, it is downright perverse that, among his many misdeeds, Obama has forged an alliance a collusion with Christian churches and “faith-based” organizations in aiding and abetting the invasion of illegals across the Mexican border into America.

How can one be both Marxist-centric and Christ-centric? You are phonies.

I readily admit I am godless. I am an atheist.

Christian lawbreaking at its "finest". Some Christians are doing great damage to the nation and its citizens. They should be imprisoned. Or sent to Canada (a similar fate).

People of God are going to follow God and morality and not the laws of man.

Right? I'm neither particularly religious, nor am I a fan of illegal immigration, but this line of attack is bizarre. I'd frankly be disappointed if people who claim to live by morality, compassion and empathy threw their beliefs away and followed the laws of a bunch of immoral, charlatan bureaucrats

You hate "the state". I get that and your perspective logically flows from there but you're talking to people who are infuriated when a Christian doesn't bake a cake for a couple of homos.
