Not to take this too far off topic, but that's one of the biggest reasons we should not encourage women who come here from other cultures, to be willingly oppressed by the males in their lives. If we do -- it hurts all women. I'm in favor of a total ban on face coverings for women -- I'd really like to see each and every woman who lives under a burka, throw it off and be free. But, we can at least help them a measure by banning public face coverings. If we don't, we are advocating for their suppression, and when that happens in our own country, we take a little step backward.

I don't even know what that means. The reason DUI is a crime is because the act of driving under the influence poses a threat to the safety of the general public. Personally, I don't think the act of driving under the influence should be a crime, but I do think if caught, it should result in the revocation of your driving privileges. If someone is injured as a result of driving under the influence, I believe that should result in criminal charges and the penalty for doing so should be severe.

Trying to conflate the college admissions scandal to driving under the influence is ridiculous. I would like to say I expect better from you, but the best I can muster is the hope that in the future you will at least attempt to do better.
LOL. So a crime is only a crime if one gets caught? Right... You’re cooked.....

I'm saying people should be responsible for their actions while drinking. Without an exception for "look who I took home at closing time"

If a drunk gets in his car and makes it home the harm is to whomever she may eventually run over drunk. Because it tends to be a repeated behavior without intervention.

If men were on the list women and the fear was that pervasive women should get guns and learn how to use them. As "evil" as we men are bullets stop us and "even we" won't shed tears for some wife beater shot dead in the act.

When I buy something it is us buying it together.

Everyone is different. I get the OP. I am not one of the women who believe we are unequal and don't have rights and all that. What I meant by my comment is how the heck do they know women are the ones who made all those purchases? that seems invasive. How did they track it? How do they know it was a woman who made the purchases? It's creepy if you ask me.

Just in this day and age they know everything. Google yourself ,when I did it I was left shaking my head.

Women check out guys too of course, they are just more discreet about it. So are you guilty of assuming they want to "do you"?

It's not that women are more discreet, it's that men, aren't always very perceptive and, don't pick up on it, but, trust me, we women can spot it a mile away...... giggling, hair flipping, the helpless damsel in distress bit.... I don't know what's more sickening, the women who degrade themselves to get noticed or, the men who buy their act.
