Those protections already exist. But you have to be consistent. If you want to limit men from the access to women's sports teams then to be consistent you would have to limit women from the access of men's sports teams.

Consistency. The hallmark of a fair and equitable understanding in society.

Never in history has any society EVER tried to pretend eunuchs were the same as women.

Not even in the overtly homosexual so cities of Greece and Rome.

All societies rightly believed that men who lost their ducks were less than men...think of the really complicated definition of the word "less"...and not the same as women.

And they all though a man who hacked off his own pecked was xrazy...because they are.

    Point of fact:

It's been the leftists who have been plush ing for this insanity since the 1979's, when people intelligent enough to reject all the leftist nonsense were saying what this crap leads to.

ALL leftist nonsense leads to the slavery of women.

That muddies the waters a lot.

80% of the Equality Act I agree with, personally. It's the other 20%, the stuff around public accommodations and educational requirements, that renders it impossible for me to support. But I think I can see why even many lesbians and progressives who are inclined to be critical of transgender politics might reach the conclusions that there's enough good there to be worth supporting.

    Sooooo....

....you must be REALLY GLAD that THE REPUBLICANS in the Senate won't allow the bill to pass,

....and even happier that PRESIDENT TRUMP is there to veto it.

It is unnecessary. We don't need additional legislation guaranteeing equality. We already had that. All you can do through that is say some are more equal than others. The creation of protected classes never turns out the way you envisioned.

The far left is the most destructive group on the planet. Athletic girls (not tomboys) of my time fought for all womens sports in middle, high schools and college. We didn't want to play with the guys or compete against them. Men and women are NOT equal. 2 years after I graduated from High School I witnessed the first softball team for the High School play. The far left wasn't happy, kept trying to get on boys baseball teams, even football in the years after. They discuss me. That was never our goal and now these idiots are destroying what we fought for.

If you want to save it all parents of these girls need to pull their kids from sports. All males should quit if they allow a female in. It's the only way to get this insanity to stop. There needs to be a big pushback especially you dads out there with females that play.

Getting what you wish for usually means you also get what you didn't wish for. Pandora found out the hard way.
