    Coffee particulars

I thought I would make a thread on coffee. Coffee drinkers are so particular. They usually only like one brand of coffee and no substitute will do. My grandpa was an MJB drinker and nothing else would do unless it was an emergency. I myslef drink foldgers. I wasn't able to drink coffee for so long because of my health, but I am back in action! I like the instant coffee, or the teabag ones that you can brew in your cup. I thought it would be fun to discuss our coffee particulars.

Drink tea. It's better for you.

When I could drink it I liked dark roast, no cream or sugar. It tears up my stomach. Had to give it up. I’m a green tea guy now. It’s actually a smoother caffeine delivery.

That is sad. I drink it black too. My stomach does really good with it. But when I couldn't drink it I tried decaf and that did mess my stomach up. I tried it once and I had acid for like a week or longer. Decaf was bad. I don't do good with the green tea, but I do love Oolong tea though. That is another version of green tea. But I love coffee.

I like it. I got majorly injured from a medication, I wasnt able to tolerate coffee for about two years. I am drinking instant so that I can drink it really light. I started with an amount that was lighter than tea, I broke myself in. The instant is good for me right now. One day I will work up to the full roast.

I love my coffee. I say that as I'm working on my second cup of the early morning. We typically use the whole-bean French variety from Sams. I far prefer grinding our own coffee just because the aroma is so much better. We used to go through one of those Cuisinart grind-and-brew coffee makers about once a year, but now we just grind our own beans.

I do like the Folder's coffee bags when my sister and I go camping -- we always take those because they're so simple to use. And, they taste fine.

However, I'm not a fan of Starbucks.
