I loved JW3. John Wick is my spiritual soulmate. I especially liked the dogs.

That pit bull of John Wick's, "Dog", is just awesome.
Incidentally, I can't help but wonder if maybe his dog really does have a name - he just doesn't trust anyone else to know it. It is a custom bordering on superstition in some cultures that you don't ever let strangers know your dog's name.

My step great granddaughter has a retired Marine Belgian. Sgt Cadence. Emma is nearly ten and no longer requires the nightly monster inspection in closets, under beds and behind furniture. Cadence mostly provides reassurance that Emma's mother will not get within shouting distance.
Belgians are very smart.
I'm not in the habit of reviving old threads, but talking about The Old Guard made me think about John Wick, and I recall asking Cletus what he thought about Wick's "gunsmithing" in JW3- taking apart multiple pistols to make the one he wanted/needed. And then I remembered watching a much older movie for the first time earlier this year - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - and watching Eli Wallach do pretty much exactly the same thing. Filmmakers love doing little "tributes" like that to classic films in their own movies, and I suspect that's where the idea came from.
