    I think that some of the personas on this forum regularly express views that are worthy of being hated. I strongly suspect that a few do so mainly for effect, and that they actually only believe no more than half of what they write, if that. As I have stated many, many times, people inhabit these boards for a lot of different reasons, and presenting yourself to the world as having far more extreme views than you really do, and doing so in a safe environment, is one of those reasons. As others have noted, I believe that with very few exceptions 90% or more of this forum's active members would likely get along pretty well in real life. Especially if politics was discussed as little and as infrequently as possible.
