If you do a search you'll find a number of feminists who are anti-Brexit because it will set back advances in womens'rights. Must be some EU restrictions England doesn’t have.

Nor wants, apparently, but "women's rights" is another one of those terms that could mean almost anything.

Some find disagreement disagreeable. I mean, after all, some think their opinions sacred. And some criticize others for what they themselves do.

As for Brexit, I'm all for it, hard leave is fine. Sure, there might be an economic downturn as trade deals are renegotiated but in the long run it will free Britain from the confines of EU authority, of, basically, globalism.

As for democratic vote, I doubt it would have come to this any other way. It is interesting now watching the leaders of democracy fight struggle with democracy.

The EU is use to redoing democratic votes until they get the result they want.

I noted the slim margin, that is all. I did NOT suggest that the outcome was invalid. No need for hysterics.

You know how the game is played here, IP. If you have a divergent opinion of just about anything, it must be because you are an evil, mind-controlled Marxist. It doesn't even matter if you are the one arguing from a traditionally conservative perspective; you're a Marxist tool if you disagree with anything Trump has said or Tweeted. It has become a tremendous waste of time and bandwidth lately to attempt to get any point or argument across to certain people; you could have all the facts and reason on your side possible, and your opinion will be dismissed as "far left talking points" or nonsense. They are far less interested in discussion than with name-calling and attempting to trump one another (no pun intended, of course) with over-the-top mischaracterizations of your views and motives. The atmosphere of this forum has pretty much moved beyond ridiculous.

I put more thought into the OP than all the rest of you combined have contributed to this thread in three pages, save possibly for MMC! (At least I have facts and data to back up my case, not just rhetoric and strawman arguments, for example.) That others recourse to strawman arguments rather than addressing what is clearly the actual topic of this thread is NOT actually my fault just because you dislike me as a person.
