    Back when the brain was developing, the average life span was only about 20 to 25 years. They didn't live long enough to develop dementia. So attempts to extrapolate what was good then to what is good now for elderly people who often live 3 to 4 times longer, is ridiculous.

    Eat what you want.

    Healthy people will include quality animal in their diet. Granted that is hard to find.

    Good luck with what you have been told is healthy.
