Actually, resistance training is also very good. In combination with cardio you're going to make rapid progress.

I'm predominately a runner as well. Ran cross country and track for like six years. And then the infantry for four years. Running will definitely get you in good shape if you do it properly. But the thing about swimming that makes it superior in my opinion is its ability to safely strengthen your core. This is especially true if your core is already weakened in some way. Once your core weakens, it's really hard to get it back without swimming or some specialized kind of rehab.

Ate today also, two sausage patties, scrambled eggs/peppers and a... not sure what it was, a peach thing but it didn't look like a peach, like a flat tomato.

Saw Shinedown in Salt Lake, took the camper there for the weekend sort of, did a lot of hiking. It was hot there too.

    Great show.

Yeah, was sort of offline past couple days. Long ass drive there but the show was Thursday and hiked to some waterfalls yesterday. I should post some pics, it was gorgeous.

Utah is $#@!ed up too, what a dumpster fire that area is. A sea of sprawl and traffic lights and angry, frustrated mormons. ugh...

Even the campground was $#@!ed up. Parked the camper Thursday, headed off to the show, got back at around midnight - gates to the park were closed. $#@!ing kidding me? Some random person drove by and said yeah, it's $#@!ed up, 10pm curfew, the lock the place down but they don't care if you climb over the fence.

    lol

Or under, there was enough room so I parked the truck down the way a bit and my son phones me, says there's a lady in the campground camping who said she can open the exit gate that automatically opens if you need to get out (but not back in) so she did for me, I went in through the exit.

    Bizarre

Figured this mention was another thread ban.

Hovering around 205, been trying to eat more and I am. I tried some protein bars also but gawd... the gas.

So I'm going to be content for now and focus on balancing my diet.

    Lol

If you're not used to whey protein I can see you getting some gas but that probably temporary. BTW, read the label. Some protein bars have so much fat they may as well be a slice of $#@!ing pie.
