Some women are treated at work exactly like the cons treat any member in this forum who is not a hardcore con. Whom they call the "Left". It is exatly the same type of behavior.

    That's my hunch, it's biological.

I thought ok this might be a difference between lawyer being more professional than secretaries. But then I see female lawyers also have these personal issues develop. I'll have to give it more thought based on what I've seen.
I have worked at non professional and professional jobs and people are the same no matter their level or class. I have seen big time multimillionaire men act just like regular class people, they have the same issues whether a man or woman rich or poor. Maybe even more serious issues the higher up the class goes. I have seen it personally across the board.

Well, my point was it had to do with expectations for the job. Example, the CEO or head of HR is expected to act professionally while a stockroom person is not. A lawyer will likely act professionally all the time whereas a construction worker might not. I didn't mean to imply women by using a secretary as an example, just the level of job and professionalism expected.

What I find more interesting is professional-level people who get on forum and act unprofessionally.

Second reason (ironically at the other end of the spectrum) would be arrogance. Some people are just naturally pompous and dickheads.
Based on my experience, it's low self-esteem/insecurity. Women tend to form the lower echelons of workplaces. Those with ambition very soon realize who among their ranks are either talented enough or attractive enough to be competitors. Beyond that, it may be competition for men but that is less of an issue today.

Secondarily, when employees, often women since they can be the majority of the support staff, are dysfunctional, it's because there is a lack of proper management of staff. This sort of thing should be observed by whomever is managing those staffers and nipped in the bud. Lawyers often make very poor managers of staff because as bosses they can be pretty insensitive and self-absorbed. At least this is what I've been told by women who work in legal firms.
