What about local influence as property tax payers? How would that work as I have no idea. I don't imagine they could vote , but they would likely have some unofficial influence as an employer? Also, they could do anything they want with their property if they saw that coming including " salt the earth" so to speak.

I'll not worry until Chinese troops and tanks are protecting their corn field in Kansas. I know more than few corn-fed boys whom would love to remedy that situation.
