That is to say that you're abetting your own destruction, probably theft of your soul.

    Silly me. That's false, troll.

As far as I know, they are. But I just looked at my retired military ID card and my Social is nowhere on it. Just a "DOD ID number" and a "Benefits number".

So, who's going to tell me that it's all right if they come into my house whenever they want to watch and listen to me at any time of day. Somebody tell me they know for fact that that is legal.

Who on this thread has attempted to convey to you anything even remotely like that?

Dog tags do not have one's social security number. I'm not military but I know ssn is not used for military ID.

Oddly enough, you know that too.

Correct, and anyone who does is constantly being steered toward apps and things that continue to track your habits, online footprint, etc.

I ordered something on Amazon, an entry runner for in front of an outside door. Go to FauxNews that can still manage to ping me with ads regardless of my AdBlocker and what do I see? Ads for runners exactly like the one I bought.

Privacy is a myth and not enough people give a $#@! which is why it isn't changing.

I said it wasn't on my retired military ID. As far as I know, it is still being used on active duty cards and other things, like dog tags.

Enough. Stop the game, SW. That's the second time in as many days you've done that. I'm not interested. Don't $#@!ing expect anyone to believe you that privacy is a matter of degrees. I will get nasty and probably get tossed off the board, but you know you're baiting an argument. I'm not interested, and I think your self-image a bit narcissistic.

I will win, but not without hard feelings. It's an important issue.
