Robert Pattinson Is the New Batman.....

Robert Pattinson will star as Batman in Warner Brothers's latest retelling of the DC comic.


Warner Bros. selected Pattinson over actor Nicolas Hoult and intends to sign Pattinson for a 3-movie franchise. The first installment of the series, The Batman, is scheduled to hit theaters on June 25, 2021, and will be directed by Matt Reeves (known for War for the Planet


The film will focus on Bruce Wayne in his formative years, hence why Pattinson was chosen as Warner Bros. wanted an actor in his early 30s......snip~

So he will sign for 3years. 3 more Batman movies. Guess that means he will be doing the Justice League movie that's coming.

I think I saw the first one with Michael Keaton that was filmed in Pittsburgh.

meh... it's why I didn't see any of the subsequent ones and have no idea who this guy is.

He might surprise people. The idea of Michael Keaton being Batman was pretty universally panned when that was announced. On something of a tangent, nobody believed that "that Disney kid" would ever make a convincing action star in Escape From New York.

Apparently he was one of the stars of those movies based on the 'Twilight' books - part of the "teenaged girls in love with vampires" sub-genre of awful films. Fortunately for him, he has overcome that unfortunate beginning in the cinema and gone on to better things, including an excellent performance in The Lost City of Z with Charlie Hunnam. He's got a half dozen movies now in pre- or post-production or filming.

Yeah, when movie tastes shifted to that vampire stuff among other things I really lost interest in Hollywood.

I haven't seen a movie I liked in years. I don't watch a lot of movies anymore at all but when I do I'm usually disappointed. I think that Hollywood has passed me by in a lot of senses and that's disappointing, I really do like a good movie. I'd watch them a lot if I were still part of the target market.
